The Top 100 People list is comprised of business leaders in Central Pennsylvania whose unique contributions to the region have set them apart from the rest of the business community. According to the publication, the distinguished honorees share a dedication to hard work, dynamic leadership, and the pursuit of excellence.
Eric Renner is President & CEO of 1ST SUMMIT BANK. He joined the bank in April, 2019 as Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer and was named President & CEO in June, 2020. Previously working at National City Bank and First Commonwealth Bank, Renner has over 36 years of banking and executive leadership experience in finance, credit, retail, and business banking. As a natural leader, as well as a humble and gifted mentor, his history of building teams, cultivating leaders, and driving collaboration have led to consistent year-over- year growth.
In addition to his many professional responsibilities, serving his community is a top priority. Renner serves on the board of the Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium, The Watson Institute, and Johnstown Symphony Orchestra. He earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Robert Morris University.
Carol A. Myers is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of 1ST SUMMIT BANK, where the company has grown from $170 million in assets to over $1.3 billion on her watch. She is a graduate of Greater Johnstown High School and earned a bachelor’s in business economics from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown.
Myers has been involved with many civic/non-profit organizations. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Pennsylvania Bankers Association and as Treasurer of Zion Lutheran Church in Johnstown. She has previously served on the board or volunteered with the United Way of the Laurel Highlands, Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh, University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, Choices – People Supporting People, and United Cerebral Palsy of the Southern Alleghenies.
