1ST SUMMIT BANK is proud to announce the appointment of Joseph Kelly as Senior Vice President and Chief Credit Officer as of April 25, 2022.
As Chief Credit Officer, Mr. Kelly is responsible for overseeing credit administration, consumer underwriting and processing, mortgage underwriting and processing, collections, and loan workout. He brings a myriad of experience in commercial and consumer lending relationships, loan portfolio management, credit policy and operations, and senior leadership.
Mr. Kelly has previously held positions at Northwest Savings Bank, CBT Bank, Riverview Bank, and most recently Mid Penn Bank, where he held the position as Senior Vice President & Regional President.
Currently, Mr. Kelly serves on Clearfield County Rails-to-Trails Association. He is a Past Chairman of the economic development board for Clearfield County, and he has served as a board member for various economic development and nonprofit boards.
Mr. Kelly is a graduate of Penn State University with a Bachelor of Business degree. He resides in Clearfield with his wife and son.
