The Westmoreland County Chamber of Commerce held their Annual Business Meeting & Awards event on Thursday, October 10, at Rizzo’s Malabar Inn. Amongst award winners is 1st Summit Bank’s valued professional, Janeen Moffa, winning this year’s Chamber Member of the Year Award.

The Chamber Award nominations are member-initiated and involve a questionnaire being completed for said nomination. Each nomination is then reviewed by a panel of at least 15 volunteer members who then rate each on a scale. The Chamber Member of the Year Award is given to an individual who holds a Chamber Membership, shows upstanding involvement in Chamber events, actively supports and promotes the Chamber, as well as lists their additional involvement in the community that makes them stand out.

Janeen’s involvement and passion for her community shows strongly to not only the Westmoreland County Chamber, but also to her fellow professionals at 1st Summit Bank. Her willingness to be involved in community events, charitable functions, and her passion to aid in making her customers’ dreams come true through her work as a VP & Sr. Regional Business Relationship Manager are admirable.

“1st Summit Bank is a true community bank and community involvement is an integral part of our culture here at 1st Summit Bank”, states J. Eric Renner, CEO & President of 1st Summit Bank, “Janeen’s dedication to the success of the businesses in our communities makes us all very proud to have her on our team. This award is well deserved.”
