1ST SUMMIT BANK is proud to name Kiera Nadolsky and Dionte Coleman as the scholarship winners of its annual G.H. Miller & Jeanne W. McKelvey, Esq. Scholarship. Both recipients have been awarded $2,500 for tuition costs at the Pennsylvania-based school they are attending this fall.
Ms. Nadolsky, Cresson, is a 2022 graduate of Penn Cambria High School and is attending Duquesne University this fall.
Mr. Coleman, Johnstown, is a 2022 graduate of Johnstown Christian School. He is attending Penn Highlands Community College.
“Being able to award this scholarship every year is one of the best things we do at 1ST SUMMIT BANK,” said Sean McCool, Public Relations & Communications Manager. “It is an honor to help students reach their educational goals.”
Ms. Nadolsky and Mr. Coleman were chosen as winners of the scholarship after submitting an essay that asked how they serve and support their community both currently and into the future.
“1ST SUMMIT BANK is a community-minded organization and is always looking for ways to give back and support our neighbors,” McCool said. “Both Dionte and Kiera embody this mindset to find ways to make our hometowns a better place.”
The two $2,500 scholarships are awarded annually in memory of G.H. Miller, a former 1ST SUMMIT BANK president, and his granddaughter, Jeanne Wolford McKelvey, Esq., who served on the Bank’s Board of Directors.
